Baranis is a chic London cocktail bar that transports you in an instant to sun-kissed Provence.
Located on a stunning site once occupied by Hodgson’s Auction House on London’s Chancery Lane, Baranis is just a few minutes from The Strand, The City and within walking distance of Covent Garden.
Baranis takes advantage of the striking features of the grand vaulted cellar space it occupies with ‘booths’ seating up to 4 persons built into the arches. Lighting is from designer Tom Dixon and the interior décor marries together modern design with the chic feel of the French Riviera. Perhaps the most eye-catching feature of Baranis however, is the indoor pétanque court – the only one in the UK.
Gascon Connection Restaurants is a partnership between Michelin-starred chef Pascal Aussignac and business partner Vincent Labeyrie.
Their flagship restaurant, Club Gascon first opened in 1998 and was awarded a Michelin Star in 2002 that it has kept since. In 2007 it was awarded the ultimate peer group accolade of Restaurant of the Year by Caterer Magazine.
Over the years, Pascal Aussignac and Vincent Labeyrie have opened a number of different locations; each celebrating the cuisine of France.

In 2015 Vincent and Pascal launched Duck’N’Roll with Street Feast and London Union. Duck’N Roll is as a “celebration of duck, incorporating flavours of the world” and trades at Trinity Kitchen Leeds, #Dinerama in Shoreditch and sits in residence at Baranis on Saturday evenings.
